Product Description

The Continental 4 Ring Waterford Bit is a great piece that makes an already strong piece even more forceful. This bit incorporates a particular type of mouthpiece that works to create a good amount of pressure throughout your horses mouth. This bit is made in the regular Continental, or Dutch Gag, style, with large bit rings placed at the end of a mouthpiece that take on the main rein. The Continental 4 Ring Waterford Bit is then fitted with three smaller rings, one of which is attached at the top, with two attached below for a stacked effect. This upper ring is sued to attach the Continental 4 Ring Waterford Bit to the bridle itself, connecting to the cheekpieces to keep the bit firmly in place. Along with this, either of the two below can be used to accommodate a second rein, a rein that increases the leverage created by the Continental 4 Ring Waterford Bit as it is utilised. This accentuates the pressure created by the mouthpiece, while also allowing the bit to act upon your horses head and poll area. For the mouthpiece, a Waterford design is sued, this is a multi jointed piece that has a number of links running the length of the mouthpiece. With all of these joints, the Continental 4 Ring Waterford Bit creates many different points of contact, resulting in a stronger action that works on many different areas around your horses mouth.
